She has worked with a wide range of organizations across sectors, many of whom have partnered with her in long-term work relationships.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to founding Carwile Biebel Consulting, Mary Gail was a manager at Alcoa, where she was responsible for executive and management development as well as technical training ranging from apprentice training to post-doctoral education. Her hands-on experience as a manager continues to influence her work with managers and leaders today.<\/p>\n<h3>Mary Gail is particularly interested in helping organizations:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Strengthen their leadership capacity through assessment, feedback, coaching and counseling of mangers and leaders.<\/li>\n<li>Design systems to build enterprise-wide leadership and management capacity.<\/li>\n<li>Design their future using a disciplined, collaborative, and creative planning process.<\/li>\n<li>Plan for and implement transformational changes in their work cultures designed to improve competitiveness, productivity, and customer satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Build organizational capacity to manage conflict in ways that enhance performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<br >\n<p>Mary Gail has worked in almost every sector including health care, manufacturing, technology, government, military, and not-for-profit. Most recently, she has worked with General Dynamics, Habitat for Humanity, Related Companies, Draper Laboratory, PS21, the Healthcare Consortium, and the U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs.<\/p>\n<p>Mary Gail has been the recipient of the American Society for Engineering Education Distinguished Service Award and the American Society for Training and Development National Technical Trainer of the Year Award. She recently received the Healthcare Trustees of New York State Trustee Leadership and Advocacy Award for providing \u201cprincipled and creative leadership\u201d as board chair of Columbia Memorial Health.<\/p>\n<p>Mary Gail is deeply involved in her community, and considers it a privilege to provide pro bono services to many local organizations, focusing on board governance.
